I think alot of you are missing the line in the first post that said: games you play with your husband (or whoever). Of course you can't play some of these games with just a spouse! I guess you gotta get the entire fam involved!

Yups it's pretty challenging that way!!
What's wrong witht taboo between 2 ppl, the point of the game is too see how many cards you can get down b4 the buzzer goes off.
And balderdash too, each of you write an answer plus whoevers turn it is will put in the real one, we've done it plenty of times.
It is alot more fun with more people, but the games are still playable!
What's jotto?

I concur with SET. We just bought it. It's a big maddening but addicting too.
Anyone heard of HuggerMugger? We like that. Good for teenagers too.
No one mentioned Risk.

There are many good card games. I get most of them at Walmart. They don't take a lot of space and many of them are very strategic and fun.
For example:
Sleeping Queens
Swap (like uno)
Uno of course
Flux
Loot one of my favorites, a pirate game, it won a Mensa award and is a very addictive game.
You can check them out on www.gamewright.com
