Maybe you can try the Felzenberg family if they're still in Morristown -the husband is an army chaplain. She wrote an article for chabad.org once.

Thank you Im-M, I found a phone number for a Felzenberg family in Morristown, hope that's the one.
How about Trenton, anyone there?

B"H new jersey isn't short of jewish communities.

I think that base is closer to lakewood. which is a large jewish community.

Philly might not be too far either.

You are right Lakewood is about 2 hours away. The closest I found was Lawrenceville, it's about 1 hour away, I guess my hubby will just have to drive for 1hr to work daily, but we'll live with that. Thank you for your input.

I didn't realize how south the base was. At least there is lakewood which you can get all sorts of kosher food. Morristown and west orange is about 3-4 hours drive. Is Mcguire near fort dix?

If it's southern NJ, what about Cherry Hill?

I think lakewood is much closer to it than two hours.

You might also want to check out Twin Rivers -which I think is also Exit 8 (MacGuire AFB) on the Turnpike - its less pricey than Lakewood, and very warm and cozy. Check out www.luach.com if you want to use a bulletin board -also gives the larger communities. Cherry Hill is also quite reasonable and not so far from Philly - I think maybe even East Windsor -which has a Chabad is also not too far off.

You can call me on my cell 732-925-2654 until around May - cuz then IYH I'll be moving to Montreal... Very Happy
