Learning something needed is good, but you also have to love what you do, or studying will be h*ll especially when it gets complicated (BA+).

I agree that you have to balance your career with your own interests too, or else you may not last too long with it.
an R.N. is a good choice. you can start with an associates and always go back to get a more advanced degree. ther's also always a need for slp, pt, and ot but you need masters degrees for all of them.
