is there anything that can be done about it? I would love to continue going for waxing but I get ingrowns & they turn into pimples & then red blotches. I get it from shaving too.

Buy some Tend Skin. Apply as soon as you have shaved/waxed. Continue to use until hair has grown in.

if you exfoliate everyday when you are in the shower then you wont get ingrown hairs.
you can use a reg shower puff that you put your soap on or some come with a side thats a little more rough. you can also buy gloves meant to exfoliate. I have a pair that I really like from the body shop, they are abt $5 and work very well.
