The love and logic method, maybe the English teacher is willing to learn and use it.
Are you a good actor? Your daughter might not want to make you so sad like crying, being miserable for loong time. Or staying in school office and doing a real boring thing?

no my children are both my strength and weakness..
I just love them so much, even when they do wrong I cannot help but hug them and say I love them...

yes but she also knows my limits..
She has girl scouts, and the troup leader does not take her acting out in school or at the meetings
She also has a tap teacher that looks at her school reports to decide if she has to sit and watch or if she can participate..
OH it was torment last week when she had to sit and watch.. This week, B"H she was able to join in...

Want to know what I do with kids who get sent home from school (it's only happend 2x - once with one of my boys, once with another)? I give them a speech "Everyone in life has a job. Mommy works and takes care of the house. Your job is to be in school. If you are NOT in school, well then, you are working for me." I give them jobs to do for the entire time they would be in school. Let me tell you, they are BEGGING to go back to school the next day.
