If you have to work and type, do you limit it?

My (WillieB) coworker, for example, just limits writing by hand but types everything. The OU for example, says it's okay to type just not print.

I've heard from MANY rabbonim that typing is not considered writing since all it is is a bunch of pixelated lights on a screen. If there would be a problem, it's with printing. Whatever though I guess everyone needs to follow their own rabbonim...
