My toddler has a cough. Which one should I get to help her out? What's the difference? I know one is cold air and one is hot. Which is bettter? What do you suggest?

My son has asthma and often has a cough. I have a humidifier and a vaporizer and I think they both do the same thing. My pediatrician told me to use the cold one. they are safer to have around kids, the steam one can get very hot . Good luck Hope your kid feels better

Humidifier. They seem to work just as well and vaporizers can be dangerous. My sister was very badly burned by a vaporizer as a child and ended up in the hospital.
