"costed" instead of "cost"
"legible" instead of "eligible"
using a statement as a question- "ur baby is sleeping?" instead pf "is ur baby sleeping?"

Staying "by" someone, as in "we will be staying by Bernstein" instead of "we will be staying at the Bernstein's house" or "we will be staying with the Bernsteins."

"Sammich" and "sammie" annoy me NO END. It's like fingernails on a chalkboard, especially as it's usually said by adults who think they're being cute--even when speaking to other adults. I dislike adults using "childisms" in speech in general, but that one in particular annoys me. "Birfday" ranks a close second. I was floored one day when a coworker in his 40s with no children told me it was his "birfday" and kept using that word repeatedly when discussing his plans.
I also hate figures of speech involving violence, with "I'm going to kill you! haha" being at the top of that list.
I also dislike it when people orphan prepositions at the end of a sentence by omitting the object. "Do you want to come with?" "Get me the glass cleaner from underneath." Underneath WHAT?!! The sink? The laundry? The cat?

Oooh, I hate when I see people type "laundry mat" instead of laundromat. Or "walla" instead of "voila!"

"literally" when it isn't (I literally killed myself laughing!)
"I was sat on a chair" instead of "I was sitting..." or "I sat" |
the two bolded ones also drive me CRAZY!!!!
JOOC, who says "I was sat on a chair?" I never heard that one.
I also don't like phrases that are literal translations of yiddish but aren't proper use of the words/phrases in english, but have become the norm in certain circles, such as:
Put down the phone
It sounds like (instead of "it seems...")

"it's all good"
drives me bananas-- I find it condescending, trite, and insincere....

"Could of," "should of," "would of" (yes, in writing), are awful!
Something that's a real pet peeve of my family: mispronouncing "fifty" and "sixty" as "fivdy" and "sigsdy"!
I can't stand when people are trying to convey an important point, and they use the word "mention." By definition, "mention" is a sort of by-the-way! Like "I would like to mention that I feel really unhappy in our relationship..." Drives me nuts!
I also don't like when people use the word "but" at the end of a sentence. "I thought she was sleeping, but!" Grrrrr.
