Just found this recipe on http://www.beerenberg.com.au/g.....rgers
made it already several times and its become a regular dinner now. VERY moist!
2 diced onions
2 cloves garlic finely chopped
4 slices wholegrain bread, crusts removed
1kg chicken mince
1 tsp Beerenberg Hahndorf Hot Mustard- I just use any mustard I have (and a more than 1 tsp)
3 egg whites
2 tbs coriander chopped(I omit this)
2 tbs chives, chopped (use dried)
sea salt
4 tbs Beerenberg Chilli Sauce (or any sweet chilli)
Method:
Saute onion and garlic until golden, allow to cool.
Process bread for fresh crumbs and add to chicken mince with onion mix, Hahndorf Hot Mustard, egg whites and herbs.
Season with salt and Chilli Sauce.
Pan fry with a bit of olive oil or you can brush both sides with some olive oil or pam spray and bake in the oven.
I'm not sure exact timing... I just keep checking.. Enjoy!
