Black Friday: Worth a go?

Personally, I think it's crazy to wait with a bunch of loonies all night for a slight chance of not being killed AND being one of the first two to hit the advertised electronics deals.

But what about more normal things? Is there any point in going to Burlington looking for a deal on a snowsuit? Or other clothes shopping? (I hate online clothes shopping, need to see what I'm getting) Or I noticed Barnes and Noble has some deals/coupons that look nice. Are the kids' clothes stores going to be mobbed and picked clean or is it worth sneaking out on an early erev Shabbos to try for a deal?

I think people who do this must enjoy all the drama. You'd think they're giving away free jewelry or cars the way people line up and wait for hours and hours. I have never heard of any sale worth all the aggravation and can't see any reason to join the crazy mobs of shoppers.
