For all those people interested in eBay, I'm rereading now a great book called "The Perfect Store" by Adam Cohen. It's very interesting and goes through it's history and growth from birth.

Can't put it down... and thought I'd share the idea with others. I'm sure your library would have a copy.

Queen - I requested it and the library got it for me the very next day! I left it out the past couple of days and I think each member of the family looked through it a little....so, thanks for the recommendation!

that's great moose Very Happy

Another book on a totally different spectrum that I also REALLY enjoyed was: The Four Seasons of Golda Mirel.
Jewish book, but VERY, VERY good.

takes you through the four generations of her life. I couldn't put it down.
I read it at my parents yom tov time, and had about 70 pages left when it was time for us to leave. Couldn't borrow the book bec. my parents wanted it for the second set of company coming for 2nd days. I ended up quickly xeroxing those end pages, and then buying a book that I'd have it in my home for others to read.

I highly recommend!

I cried my way through that book. I got so attached to Golda Mirel and her obstacles in life. It was so inspiring how she overcame each Nisayon.

Definitely recommend this one!

not at all sad, very realistic and goes through the same trials that we in the 21st century go through.

Whatever is good for you though!

I polished off "Four Seasons" in about 45 minutes on Friday night. It was okay, I guess . . . . I don't think it had much toichen though.

It was a very realistic novel going through four generations of a family with real life scenarios and happenings.

what exactly would you have liked it to have?????

Unless you are a SUPER SUPER SUPER fast reader, I'm assuming you skimmed bec. it's a long book, and even for fast readers- 45 minutes is too fast to really have read the entire piece.
