I had a peek at the cookbook at Eichlers' in Flatbush. It looked nice, but not nice enough for me to buy at full price.

Anyone want to post the Spaghetti Pie recipe?

So, Crayon, can you get me that recipe? For spaghetti pie?

It's like, a package of noodles, 4 eggs, a cup of ricotta cheese....................

Isnt the cookbook copyrighted? If it is, you probably can not post the recipes.

I heard kbd short is great but also that the recipes dont take so short.
I live with the kosher pallette one and two and the original kbd.
kbd entertains is a little too long for everday dinners.
glad to see you all enjoying it!

I saw it myself, it didn't seem like everything was so 1,2,3. It was a regular cookbook!

Lots of the recipes are very short.

Some aren't SO short, but still shorter than most recipes.

AWESOME!!

The pumpkin soup was esay and tasted great.

The greenbeans were a bit more work, but not too much (a little slicing, dicing, and stirring)...amazing!!

I also just got this cookbook, this is the first KBD I own. I agree that the reason that so many of the recipes are "short on time" because they assume you've spent 45 minutes chopping vegetables ahead of time or have certain expensive ingredients.

That being said I am going to try out the creamy french fried veggies and the braised potatoes this coming shabbos.

I paged through the cookbook at the bookstore, and I don't see where "short on time comes" into play. Most of the recipes looked very time consuming. Delicious, yes. Short on time, NO!

How is the peanut butter mousse? Is it VERY GOOD or just ok? I want to know if I should make it for shabbas with guests.

Timeout, can you let us know how you liked the green beans?

Defy, the cookbook's title is very misleading. It's not particularly short on time, it's just not as time consuming as some of her other cookbooks.

I got it because some of the recipes looked good and different, and I like that there are pictures with every recipe.

I've been hearing that the cookbook "What's Cooking?" has yummy easy recipes....the type you would whip up for supper.
