Arg!!! It's already happening, I am going crazy!

I am like the sane person in my family that does not speak ill of others.. Once again they are baiting me!! ARGGG!! If I could only avoid the family members that cause the poison, but I cannot. I am going to see the aging family members while I still can and they just do not get it!

Immediately, negative NEGATIVE! It's like they do nto realize how important family is! They still dwell on the past!

I want to have fun on my first vacation, but already my mother is "warning" my kids that they must behave. Majority of my family has no kids, and are not used to children period. Nor active children at that!

B"H my kids behave very nicely I think, but who knows..

well first day B"H all was going well until the end of the day.

As all of us know when it comes to kids they need to relax and just play with toys! Well my family decided the children could only play in the small kitchen area. that is the only room they are allowed in other than the bathroom! Talk about insanity! Sorry venting, because.. On top of it

My aunt wants to take the kids to a Traif restaurant tomorrow!! I said NO WAY! Firstly, they cannot eat anything! Secondly, she expects they will sit there while her and my mom and me talk! Kids rarely want to sit for long periods and do nothing!

The first reason is enough. Just say, "we only eat kosher, so how about one of the many kosher choices to eat at?" If they give you a hard time, just smile and shrug your shoulders.

I was flying on a plane yesterday and a non-jewish lady was trying very hard to give my toddler some chocolate. I had to forcefully tell her a few times that I don't let, while explaining to my 2 year old that it's not-kosher as he's being offered the chocolate...

Just remember, you're the mother, and you make the rules for your family. Don't let yourself get all worked up about it.

AHHHHHH

I love my aunt more than anything, but she has major emotional issues!

She "accidently" dropped something on her toes.. I told her what to do, to keep it from swelling and getting worse. Does she listen??? NO! So now instead of her being ok, she has to go to the ER and get attention!

Drives me batty.

oh well... We survived yesterday, relatively unscathed Smile
