I know I must tip everyone but how much?
For my son I have a Rebbe, Morah and Morahs aide. Bus driver, bus monitor only for one way, and speech therapist.
For my dd Driver and 2 Morahs.

The schools usually collect a preset amount except for the bus drivers. It very much depends on your childrens schools. I would ask other parents who know from previous years.

Yeah, right...Sorry, but most expect it, AND get it. If you're going to be the only one not giving, trust me, they'll remember.

If no parents get together to chip in, I give Rebbies a bottle of wine & women a nice tray of chocolates from Oh Nuts.
For the bottle of wine, I found at Bombay Company a bottle necklace for 6.99. I may add that.

A tip is a GIFT. You never HAVE to give a gift.
Lots of times the parents get together and that way the teacher gets something from everyone...........I think that's nice.

Of course you don't HAVE to. But here in Boro Park and Flatbush it is THE expected thing to do.

You don't HAVE TO. If you can't, at least write a note expressing your thanks. It really gives a teacher a boost to keep working as hard as he/she already is knowing that the work is appreciated.
