Aside from the usual 4 cups of wine, fruits and nuts, that is.

It's weekday evening, I wasnted to serve something a bit more substantial than nosh, but it's hard to do hot food for logistic reasons.

Right now I'm thinking of various dips, crudite, and pita/bagel sandwiches.
Any other suggestions?

To be honest I never heard of a tunishvat seder. We have some fruit, say a shehecheyanu and that's it.

we eat a reg. supper. After that, I serve cut up fruits and a variety of nuts in a nice platter. I try to get all the shivas haminim, and we also eat esrog compote.

I don't think it's just a sephardic thing. Aish.com has a 'kabbalistic tu b shevat seder' also. Look, if nothing else, it's fun Very Happy

I think it's combination of kabbalistic and sefardi. Yes 4 cups of wine, starting with white, light rose, darker rose and red. I'm rather surprised not that many people seems to be doing it. I think in the end we're going to settle for buffet-style finger foods like dips and sabich or fallafel. It's weekday night, we are not sure how many people are going to show up.

I asked my Sefardic grandma if her family did this and she had not heard of it either.

Once we finish with all the different kinds of fruit, we're hardly hungry for a full meal!

I might make an attempt to serve food from the shiva minim, but I focus more on the ceremonial foods than the meal, especially on a weeknight.

For those who are curious about making a seder, we use this book plus some additional sources.

We use to make a seder back at home - Sephardi Minhag I think. Just married and won't be doing it this year! Although I suddenly thought that maybe I should be making a nice meal though... mmm... cooking time!

Does anyone have a link to a normal-ish hebrew english version of the seder? I'd really like to show DH what it's all about. I looked at the Aish link but the all english put him off a bit. TIA! Very Happy

I'm serving sparkling grape juice, pasta with butter and salt, fresh and dried fruits (whatever we like that was available), and cheeses.

We basically just sing Hashekeidia Porachat. Very Happy
