I think the automatic doors are great for carpool. I can also let the kids in and out of the car very easily. When we bought our minivan that was my one criteria, I needed those automatic doors. DH loves them now that he had to spend the extra money for them. They are the best thing to happen to minivans. I just wish we would have got the model that has the trunk open automatically.

All odysseys come with an eighth seat except for the cheapest model. It is an extra seat in the middle row that if you don't want it then you can take it out.

Just got a Chevy Venture. So far, I like it a lot! I also like the extended warranty we got with it.
