I recently heard that disposable pans are coated with oil, and should be washed out with soap before using.
have you ever heard of this? do you do this?

I wash them with soap, and water anyways. Most don't have coverings. They are completely exposed to everything, and everyone. (Maybe buying in bulk gets handled less, but I still wash them down.)

I think you mean toivel, not kasher.
If they come with a hechsher you don't have to do anything except wash them for cleanliness.

I know plenty of people who kasher their disposable pans before pesach.
