Our pizza was delivered (really hot) with the plates & napkins inside the box. We didn't use them all so I left the extras n the office kitchen...

Forgive my ignorance, but is that okay? People often get fleishgis for lunch, what if it gets mixed up...

TY

Didn't this happen last week....? in which case more suggestions would just be hyperthetical... and with no help at all.

I'm not a rabbi 8) however you mentioned the plates were inside with a hot pizza box. Would only use for milk due to hot steam which was on plates.

(similar concept to pouring ketchup into your hot cholent on erev shabbos.... the steam going from the pot- up into your ketchup bottle is not ideal, and should be avoided as much as possible..... as you're using the ketchup bottle for milk and meat.

They were on top of the pizza box. Not inside.

some people have separate ketchup for milky and meaty
I would leave the plates for milchigs - put them in a baggie w/ a label

Ketchup is different, if it actually touched your hot food.

This didn't touch the food. Just wondering what I HAVE to do. Not chumras.

How many plates are we talking about? Why not just leave a note or throw them out? What's the big deal?
