I have this big lower belly bulge and I can not get rid of it. Exploding anger I do about 30 minutes -hour of cardio and about 10-20 minutes of yoga and spot work on my belly daily. So what am I doing wrong? I really want it gone.

I was given a gym membership as a gift once (hint no?)

Anywayz...the trainer told me that you just have to keep going and going...that the stomach is the last part to go down.

I do sit ups & crunches. When I feel pain & tightness in my stomach muscles, I know I'm doing the right kind of exercises.

Sometimes situps and planks etc can actually be causing the bulge.

Many ppl who have big babies or multiples have a condition where the stomach muscles are split.

Doing situps with this condtion can cause the bulge to grow bigger.

Google for information on split rectus abdom...(sorry can't remember the full term and apologize if my terminology is incorrect)

Some one posted an excellent book -- How to lose your Mommy Tummy.
This has helped me (when I actually use it)

perhaps u have a small hernia from pregnancy that is causing the bulge? cuz if ur working out that much, its surprising to me that u still have a bulge. (I am 6 months postpardum and didnt work out my abs at all and I dont have a bulge....like probably my tummy is not quite as flat as pre-pregnancy, but close enough...but I guess every body is different and muscles recover differently...??) maybe its something more than just exercise that is needed? ...im only thinking this cuz my friend, who had a baby a few days b4 me, has a small hernia and therefore a bulge. check it out with your doc!

My baby is almost a year and I know for sure I do not have a hernia and my muscles have not split.
My belly was never 100% flat so maybe they never will be:?(
I hate it though my body it perfect except that I look so much bigger because of this big lower belly.
