Not tehina sauce, which is mixed with lemon juice and other flavors, but just plain tehina paste, that's been opened and is in the fridge. It smells fine but I'm not sure. I also have one in the cupboard that's not opened at all..

I think all the time you haven't mixed it with anything it lasts almost indefinitely in the fridge (and unopened out of the fridge).

If it has nothing added to it, it can last a long time. I don't even keep mine in the fridge.
Once it's mixed with something, it goes bad after a couple of days.

the one in my fridge is sitting for few months (!) sounds crazy but it smells and tastes fine

just a fyi, ready techina can be frozen. we freeze it in portions, so we do big batches at a time
