I'm sure they can!
I wash them with bleach and hot water in my washing machine.

Yes, I do wash some of the bath toys in the dishwasher. Just know that the squirt toys never get fully clean on the inside and harbor all kinds of disgusting bacteria. I recently read an article about them containing e coli and so on, and I threw all of ours out.

Ra Mom, which bleach do you use? Also, which cycle? And do you use a mesh bag?

Spray them with Clorox clean-up spray first (the bleach will kill everything!) and then dishwash.
I do this all the time with my kids' plastic toys when they get gross.

If I spray the toys with bleach before putting them into the dishwasher- is it safe to wash her sippy cups at the same time?

Like others have said the squirt toys harbor a lot of gunk. We don't buy such bath toys anymore.

I spray bleach on my cutting boards all the time... also on plastic mixing bowls that get stained.... I spray them with bleach before I put them in the dishwasher. AFAIK, the hot water in the dishwasher rinses away all the yuckiness of the bleach.
