We will iy"h be in Jerusalem for Sukkos with four kids, ages 8, 5, 3.5 and 1.5. We would like to make one child-friendly trip on chol hamoed. Is there anything to do in or around Jerusalem that doesn't involve thousands of other people trying to do the same thing and is reasonably accessible without a car?
If there isn't anything in Jerusalem, we would travel further away, but two of our kids get pretty car sick when the trip is more than an hour long.
If this makes a difference, we are European chareidi, dh is broad-minded chassidish.

OK, I was told I need to change my criteria, as there is no place that doesn't have thousands of other people trying to do the same thing.
Any ideas for a kid-friendly Ch"M trip near Jerusalem, or are we going to have to settle for visiting great aunts and second cousins?

How about an aunt, uncle and first cousins?

That's already scheduled for one day of chol hamoed. We wanted to do trips another day.

For those chalishing to know what we did, we went to a very nebechdig "luna park" one day and visited my mother's cousin the other day. Such fun.
