I just got one from old navy that was surprisingly nice and long. They also have tall sizes, so sometimes I'll buy the same size in tall and it adds an inch or two.

I shop for skirts a lot in Talbots.

Also, brands like Jones New York and Calvin Klein have great tznius skirts. I find them in department stores.

I just got a couple at Target! They are great and I've been telling all my friends about them. Everyone keeps thanking me for the tip.

I think it's this one and they're definitely below the knee. No matter how tall you are Smile

Be careful with denimskirts.com. I don't believe they are a Jewish store. Some of their skirts have symbols which are very NOT Jewish.

they look great - but in the picture look so short. I'm 5'4" - do you think it would cover, even when sitting?

New amother here.

Previous amother clearly you are not that tall. Smile I ordered too. I am 5'9" and they are just just. Not sure if I will keep. However, the fit is very nice for curvy gals (very uncommon in pencil skirts.)

Sky - they will most definitely cover your knees (with a few inches!).

Can somebody who has the skirt from Target mesure the length and let me know please? Also is it high waisted or can be worn low?

TIA.

You can check it on the website. It looks like they do have them, depends on your size and color you want.

Thanks for posting the link to the Target skirt. Can you tell me how many inches it in length (and what size you have) so that I can figure out if it is long enough for me.
Thanks

Regarding height and skirt length- the length of the skirt may work well for someone who is taller than you, and not cover your knees, even though you're shorter than her.

The reason is that height is not evenly distributed among all people; some people have longer torsos and others have longer legs. So you really have to try things on if you don't know the exact length of the skirt, IME.

(I learned this from car seats- kids of the same height can outgrow car seats at totally different heights because they have different 'seated shoulder heights - I.e. one kid has a long torso and taller seated shoulder height, while the other kid has long legs and a short torso.)
