I'm not used to suede clothing. My mother-in-law bought me a beautiful brown suede skirt -a perfect fit!
I wore it to work one day, but didn't think to take it off when I came home...yeah, I dripped something on it.
I stopped by one cleaners and he said it's very expensive to clean -- like $40??? -- and he can't guarantee the stains will come out!! Is that outrageous? I'm going to try another cleaners...
but experienced women...what do you say??

Mine cost about that to clean too. Do it. It's worth it & just be careful now not to wear it around kids, cooking etc.

I dripped oil once on a brown suede skirt. The dry cleaner wanted $35 which was more than half of what I'd paid for the skirt! Somehow my mother managed to get it out (don't know how) but just shows it's sometimes possible to do it on your own.
