I hear telling them early - but if you do, remind them once a year or so! My mother told me very early b/c my cousin got it when she was very young...but when she mentioned it a couple years later, I did not even remember having the conversation! (Luckily, it was still b4 I got mine at 12 1/2)

As far as genetics, I agree it probably is at least to some degree...but remember that you're not the only one handing out genes! How many of you ladies know how old your *MIL* was when she got it Question Exclamation
