I spent all day yesterday at the hospital with DD#1 who was throwing up and needed IV fluids (and zofran. Thank G-d for zofran). We got home to discover that DD#2 is sick with a cold. I just left the pediatrician with the diagnosis of a "viral ear infection". Apparently I'm supposed to wait a few days before giving the antibiotic.

I think I've slept 4 hours in the last 3 days.

Shabbos is not cooked.

The house is a disaster zone. The laundry piles have laundry piles.

My Amazon Mom shipment of diapers never shopped up and I have to shlep out to Target or Shabbos is going to be very, very unpleasant.

My car wiring was eaten by squirrels (again). DH is out trying to go purchase fox urine at a specialty store.

And the dryer just broke down.

Do I start laughing? Or do I cry?

Oy! You have to laugh - it is the only way. I remember once, all 4 of my kids caught a stomach bug the same night. Dh and I did about 5 loads of laundry, we were out of towels and blankets and everything had been vomited on. We just stood in the laundry room and laughed. It was either that or run away and abandon the children.

Things can only get better.
