Aside from the classic green glass and the actual coke drink---
anyone have some bright ideas on how to take the idea further?

a black and white cookie, only red and white.
or, you can get a popcorn cup fill it with popcorn and put a small glass coke bottle in it.
you can also, put a dvd of your kids(only for your family) in it, its the "reel" thing.
ill keep thinking Smile

You can do a layered bundt ‘cake’ of clear & red jello and then stick the glass coke bottle in the center.

thanks everyone for responding.

I spend a lot of time with wrapping as I am from the school of thought that presentation is everything. (well......... almost everything!)

This year I decided I don't want to be up late the night before wrapping, which means nothing homemade- as that has to be inserted fresh.

Still looking for that idea to add to my existing package:
green classic coke glass with a straw sticking out, and a mini can of coke.
(doesn't have much to do with Coke) but we're including a bottle made out of chocolate, which will have our note on it.
I need one more item to add........ and give it the final touch.

any other ideas??????

We thought of them.... but didn't know how to get hold of them here in the US, so forgot about the idea.

Thanks for reminding me.... will see if we can get hold of them, seeing that you said you have seen them here.

Instead of a straw u can buy a red & white striped candy cane (they have one that's not curved on top but totally straight) & tape that to the cup so it sticks out or just tape it on the side of the can of coke.

Do u only want things that have to do with coke or can the colors blend too?

Last year, my neighbor gave out the same type of coke glass. She filled it with chocolate balls (maybe w/ peanuts inside???) and then a few marshmallows at the very top. It looked so cute. I think she also put a straw in, but I don't remember.
Queen, you can ask her, you know her Wink

I was going to do an animals theme, but didn't come up with enough things...
_gummy bears
_animal crackers
_animal shapes fruit snacks....
maybe too expensive in the end?? not sure.

What a GREAT idea!!!
I think this is a winner... planning on inserting these- they work great.
Have the colors of coke plus those swirls on the actual candy (not that anyone will actually connect the swirl on peppermint candy with coke!!!)
