it is too expensive, cuz everything is prepackaged stuff.
I always do my own baking.
I decided this will be my first year with a no theme shalach manos 
so much easier this way but not 1/2 as cute as a theme oh well

We did animals one year - we used those cute animal shaped plates and did the foods mentioned above, as well as one or 2 more that I can't hink of right now...it was a big hit!

What a GREAT idea!!!
I think this is a winner... planning on inserting these- they work great.
Have the colors of coke plus those swirls on the actual candy (not that anyone will actually connect the swirl on peppermint candy with coke!!!) |

After looking and calling around I found those Coca Cola gummy candies right here where I live.....

use those chips shaped like mini french fries and cocktail wieners with little mini buns (I think you'll have to make the buns!)
Or, how about making small pans of Coca Cola cake and including the recipe?

would love an idea  as I'd like to attach a photo of the baby dressed up with Sh.monos.
Last year we gave out (what looked like) potted sunflower plants, and baby was dressed up in sunflower costume.
I have a red velour outfit she can wear..... and thought worst comes to worst, I'll photograph her wearing that outfit, and on the computer, create some nice card/photo to attach.

Mumof1 can't you do a misgaver k'ari theme. You could make cake shaped like beds and marshmellow pillows. You could add a Teddy bear shaped cookie or a homemade card with krias shema al ha mitah on it.
