Maybe I could try to make my own version of high fiber cookies and save money?

HIGH FIBER COOKIES

1 c. brown sugar (packed)
1 c. molasses
1 c. applesauce
3 egg whites
1/4 c. water
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
2 c. quick oatmeal
1 c. chopped prunes

In a large bowl, mix brown sugar, molasses, applesauce, egg whites, water, cinnamon and cloves. Sift baking soda and flour at the same time into bowl. Stir thoroughly, adding oats and prunes.
Spoon table tennis ball sized amounts onto a cookie sheet sprayed with Pam or cooking oil. Bake at 325 degrees for about 12 minutes or until done. (Cookie tops should be spongy, not gooey.) Makes 2-3 dozen good sized cookies.

or these:

High Fiber Crunch Cookies

High fiber and good taste!
Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup Flaxseed Meal
3/4 cup White sugar
1 Tbsp. molasses
2 tsp vanilla
1 Tbsp. milk (soy or rice)
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Vital Wheat Gluten
1/2 cup, chopped Walnuts-Baker's Pieces
1/4 cup Canola oil
1 cup packed Dark brown sugar
1 Tbsp. Lecithin Granules (Plain Soy)
2 Eggs (or egg substitute)
1 cup Oat Flour
1 Tbsp. Butter Buds (fake dry butter)
1 cup Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
1 cup Chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F.

Mix flaxseed meal with canola oil, then stir in the sugars. Stir in the molasses, lecithin, vanilla, milk and eggs. Mix in the oat flour with the baking soda and butter buds. Then mix in the wheat gluten with the whole wheat pastry flour. Finally mix in the walnuts and the chocolate chips. Batter will be very thick and it will take some work to mix in the last ingredients.

Use a tablespoon or large cookie scoop to drop cookies on ungreased sheets and bake for 10 minutes. They should look soft and slightly underdone when they are taken out.

Makes about 40 cookies.

When I was in eighth grade my mother purchased a kit for me, it was called the ‘cookie diet’… yeah I was full but I was sick of these cookies after the fourth day.
