Anyone know a store where I would be LIKELY to find COMFORTABLE yet good-looking shoes? I'm willing to get a bit spendy on this as I'm desperate, have not been successful in regular mall stores, and really really want something new for Pesach.
It is for myself but could be a kid store that also has larger sizes.
I know it's erev yomtov and things will be hectic but I really need a place that will help me find something that will work for my feet. I don't know why, but for some reason regular shoes just don't seem to go right, I could try on every shoe in DSW and it pinches somewhere or falls off or rubs me wrong. I'm desperate, have not had new shoes in years and my old ones are really falling apart and just can't work at all anymore by any stretch of imagination.

Best place to go for comfort shoes is Tip Top Shoes in the city. Google it, I x have info in front of me. If u need to stay local, Shoe palace on 18th ave can help

I would also recommend Shoe Palace on 13th.
They have the biggest selection, you're bound to find something.

mehrings in bklyn have comfort shoes, some of which are stylish. very good service and fittings...prices are highish since the shoes are good quality...they only open at noon though. good luck. they are on coney island ave between j and k.
