Back in the days I used to watch comedies
I used to watch Monty Python's Flying Circus...it was hilarious (if she likes British humor) also the Holy Grail. Along those lines I hear Black Adder is funny too and I used to watch Absolutely Fabulous...
(Life of Brian was also funny, but over the line in terms of tznius..ie.extreme nudity, as I recall.)

Zoolander is SO funny - about two dumb male models - you can't stop laughing at how stupid they are - kinda like Dumb and Dumber.
Galaxy Quest is also very humorous - not quite ROTFL, but a great movie!
