Can NOT lose weight help

hi ladies,
I need advice: I really need to lose at least 40 pound and I can not!
I'm seeing a nutrinionist, I'm strict about my diet, I walk a lot...
but I can not lose weight.
my nutrinionist wanna do the Metabolic test. does it make sense?

Amother, go to your dr. Let him do a full thyroid panel. then see a nutritionist AND do Weight Watchers.

Do you exercise?

Sometimes, certain foods block you from being able to lose weight. Just calorie restriction did not work for me as I would be on Weight Watchers and work so hard, feel so deprived, exercise religiously and lose 1/4 lb a week or even gain.

What has worked for me long term (meaning I have been on it almost a full year and have no plans for ever going off even after I get to my goal weight) is the Paleo lifestyle. Plenty of threads on that here and elsewhere on the internet. I have lost more than 35 lbs and it has changed much more than just the scale number.
