Microwave it in some water with vinegar and sugar. Until it's soft but not mush. You might put some raisins in it.

Saute with onions. Add some salt and pepper. If you want mix it with noodles.

roast - I roast the cole slaw packages - oil, and spice. easy. yummy. (don't eat too much at once though)

Yum! Cabbage & noodles is one of my favorite side dishes. I'll even eat it cold out of the fridge...

unstuffed cabbage...layer in a crock pot....cabbage/chopped meat/tomato sauce/salt,pepper,& spices to taste!

I second egg rolls. You can buy the wrappers juat saute the cabbage with a scallion or onion stuff the wrappers and bake.

Stir fry with soy sauce and peanut oil. Add a bit of celery and shredded carrot, makes a great side dish for teriyaki chicken.

Throw it in soup, any kind.

Stir-fry with chicken cut into small strips and a little mu shu sauce, use as filling for wraps spread with more mu shu sauce. Easy 1-dish dinner.
