It's a really nice day here - chilly but sunny. I went to a megillah reading at the Chabad yeshivah, the Purim Center. Every 30 minutes a megillah. It's fantastic! Kids are having a blast so far.

last time I got drunk, I ended up worshipping the porcelin goddess. I was soooooooooooooooooo sick for hours and hours later. so not worth it.

my baby got a sip of wine at the seuda. it was in dh's cup and he was reaching for it. (relax e/o who's about to yell at me - it was less than he gets for kiddush and WAY WAY less than he got at his bris! ok, actually, at his bris he could've drunk you under the table greenfire, but that's cuz the guy dipping his pacifier kept giving him refills until the mohel told him ENUF!!!)

here's one more for you, greenfire, before I stop eating leftover hamentashen and get ready for bed...

here are the items that were served at today's seuda that included wine (sweet red):
- pears poached in spiced wine
- brisket
- wine strudel (see Spice & Spirit)

like they say, "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put some in the food!"

Freilichin Purim or Shushan Purim, everyone, depending on your time zone... G'nite! {insert shloofy emoticon here.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....}
