My SIL invited me to her bday party with four days notice. It's an online type invitation and I can see all the other people who were invited, their comments and rsvp's etc. It is clear that all the others were invited more than two weeks ago. This makes me feel like I got a second class invitation and that she forgot to include me initially. I asked my brother about it and he said that he told her that she should send me an invite but she kept forgetting to do it; that's why it's late.

Am I being petty to feel offended by this? I don't want to go to the party if I'm not really wanted there.

Should I just get over it, do the right thing and attend?

WWYD?

he told her to send one - otherwise she wouldn't ? doesn't sound like a welcome invite to me either ...
