Where do you live? In Israel they have a few kinds of individual vitamins kosher l"Pesach. But regular vitamins usually have real chometz inside.

Depends what type. The type I took was kitniyos, not chometz.

You should probably just ask a posek and show them the ingredients

It’s worth asking. Especially when you’re on a different diet over pesach and a different sleep schedule, you need the boost! If it’s kitniyos, you should take it. just based on what I did, and it made all the difference.

If it's a multi-vitamin it will almost always be chometz and not kitniyot (never heard of one with a hechsher) because Vit E is from wheatgerm oil and many of the Vit Bs are chometz too.
There may be individual vitamins you can find, approved for Pesach.

Ask your rav. I've heard of people allowed to take them if it was for health and not just comfort/feeling better.
