What do you think is the best tasting brand of kosher, pareve, marinara sauce (not pizza sauce, not extra spices, just plain marinara)?
TIA

There is one in the greater area, though not very close and I'm not a member (I also don't need a huge jar; just one regular sized one).
Thanks.

I don't have much to compare it to, but I like Frescorti brand marinara sauce.

My own homemade sauce that I canned! But otherwise, Barillas.

We use Barilla. It's the only one in the kosher supermarkets around here that doesn't have high fructose corn syrup as a main ingredient.

Depends on the dish... I like famiglia Del rosso and barilla. Del rosso is thinner and more natural. Barilla is thicker and a little more processed tasting, but I prefer it for certain uses anyway.

I like Vincents or Paesana. Famiglia del rosso is also ok. I find the other companies sauces too processed/not as natural tasting and some are overly sweet.

when did they change it to frescorti ? I missed the memo ... but that's what I prefer
I also use newman's own but you have to be careful to find the one with the OU [not sure that it's marinara - maybe garlic & olive oil] - it's cheaper and you can find it at a regular grocery

Barilla for sure. Although I prefer the one with mushroom, not the regular marinara.

paesana Sicilian gravy. O.M.G I eat it plain out of the jar. my mouth is watering now. the only thing is that it is pretty expensive. another vote here for any sauce with no added sugar/corn syrup.

Trader Joe's is the best. If I don't have I will use Barilla in a pinch.

Good to know, but I'm in Chicago. No Shoprite here.
