My mother, who is not frum, met a woman who wants to convert to Judaism. I'm not sure if she wants to be orthodox, reform, etc, but when my mother mentioned that we were orthodox, the woman asked my mother if we could provide her with information or the name of a person that could help her convert.

I have no idea where to start.

I forgot to mention, this is in Brooklyn.

So many rabbonim, I know there has got to be some that deal especially with conversion.

Why is she interested in converting? If it's for marriage or other non-valid reasons she shouldn't help her at all.
If she's genuinely interested, point her to a local, Orthodox rav, as Ruchel said.

I don't know much detail. What I do know is that she's 28, single, used to be a religious Christian but was disillusioned for whatever reasons. She lives in Flatbush, too.

doris feinstein of lower east side. she is affiliated with beis din of queens (q-veens Smile )

her "speciality" is situations in which non frum ppl want to get married and do a quick conversion, and she tries to turn it into authentic one. totally streight shooter but EFFUSING love Flower she is just the teacher obviously but she knows all the ppl to talk to.

wow... you know when someone comes to you asking about conversting I think yits not so pashut that you should be encouraging them. I know this is cliche here at imamother but... ask a rav Smile

um, that's why I'm asking for a rav that can help her? maybe not to convert, but to make sense of the situation. I'm not personally giving her any advice.
