Hi - I need to take my baby - under 2 - to a pediatric dentist for possible dental work. Can anyone recommend a dentist in Brooklyn that they were happy with for this age? One that minimizes unnecessary work.

Also - was given the name Dr R Weiss in boro park - does anyone know about him - how he is?

TIA

My friend uses Dr Wagshall and is very happy with him. I think he is on Ocean Avenue between J and K. I use Dr Ackerman from Ezra Medical Center but I don't think they are accepting new patients.

I was very happy with Dr. Weiss, but my son just went for a routine checkup and cleaning at 3. Just so you know, he does not take insurance, and he is not cheap. (I think I paid $125!)

I second and third this. Dr. Wagshall is excellent. We have been using him for years for kids of all sizes and levels of cooperation. He is always patient, even when a kid (like my son, for example Cool) screams his head off and requires three people to hold him in place. He doesn't use mercury fillings and I found him to be honest and tell me when something could wait or just be watched instead of running to do more work.
