So, when my daughter was about 15 months, she fell and chipped one of her front teeth... the pediatrician said not to bother with it, just make sure to brush her teeth well. Today I took her to the dentist for the first time, and they said it needs to be removed so it doesn't infect her adult tooth... so, she is having it removed on Friday morning... any advice for how to make it less scary/stressful/painful?? I am so worried that she's going to be scared of the dentist forever now. Also, any ideas for a special thing I can do for her as a reward? I don't know why I am so upset about this, it's not at all like me...

Get a second opinion asap, before you pull a tooth from a child at age 4.

My 2 1/2 year old chipped her front teeth giving herself an "arch like chip" while fighting with her sister Rolling Eyes .

The doctor (family friend) gave her what look like porcelain veneers now ,she has adorable perfect movie star chompers.
It was $$$ but B'H covered by our insurance B'H
The doctor explained that it is better to repair teeth than to pull because pulling can cause teeth shiffting and lead to cramming .

Get a second opinion we did and both dentists said the same
