Do you have a recipe for that?
I've never heard of using string-beans in mock liver. I know people use canned peas. and the way my Mom makes it is with walnuts, eggs and fried onions.

veggie kugel?
Frozen anything, 3 tbsp. mayo, 3 tsp. soup mix, dash of salt, 3 eggs.
Put the frozen veggies in an oven safe dish. Combine the other ingredients and pour over. Salt & pepper to taste.
Bake at 350 (180) until lightly browned on top, and egg not runny (about 1/2 an hour).

green beans (defrosted), fried onions, canned mushrooms, hard boiled eggs. Put it all through a grinder, add salt and pepper and enjoy!

how 'bout just sauteeing onions, some garlic, mushrooms (even canned), throw in the beans with some salt, pepper, soy sauce if you like...

actually, I'm not sure that's universally accepted (that string beans are kitniyos).
think the necklace will last 'til Shavuos???
