Meat Lasagna and ??

I am serving lasagna (meat) for friday night, any suggestions as to what I should give with it?

This is a toughie because lasagne has both protein and carbs in it. I just used it for my purim seuda and as a side dish I had a veggie knish (can make boureaks as well) with an onion sauce for those who wanted.

can I have a recipe for grilled veggies? I think I might make tomato quiche and grilled veggies with it. but if no time I'll make mashed potatoes and veggies.

Use the following vegetables:

zuchinni
tomatoes
mushrooms
eggplant
green pepper
celery
and any other veggies that you like

slice them up into strips, and spread it out on a sprayed cookie sheet.
put spices (onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper and salt) and spray pam over the veggies.

Put in on broil for about 20 minutes to half an hour. (till they get soft)

It is delicious and sooo easy to make!!

thanx, I have a certain salad I always get at a restaurant and I want to try and make it myself but wasnt sure how to grill vegetables.

I use some olive oil mixed in with the veggies instead of pam. Also, a little Basil sprinkled on with the other spices is really good. stir the veggies every 5-10 minutes so they don't get charred on one side.
