I have to have my son’s stitches removed next to his eyebrow and I can’t be bothered paying for a car service all the way to the plastic surgeons office, on their time schedule too! It’s snowing!

I called the pediatrician’s office and the doctor said he prefers not to take it out because it’s very tiny stitches and they’re not really equipped.

Where in Boro park can I have it done today, or Sunday, or Monday early morning or late at night? It’s nuts to have my son miss school for this. Thanks!

They used the cream to numb him, I guess that was more than I can ask for. Sometimes, you have to use real thread, like I guess for aesthetic reasons, depending on where it is.

with, dont put off having the stitches removed. we waited a couple xtra days (DH took him, didnt tell me when they needed to be taken out and I thought he needed longer, so waited) and the skin started growing over the stitches making them harder to remove.

If you wait too long to take them out, it can get a "train track" like appearance. (Sorry I don't have advice where to bring him- don't live in the area.)

the snow is not falling today and a lot of the roads are clear - take him out of school and a car service ASAP so he doesnt end up wth train tracks on his forehead

I couldn’t find him listed. I left a message with the service for all the doctors in the area. In the worst case, we will go to the E.R. tonight, I think it’s like $100 copay ;(
