Do you buy everything new from A to Z?
All new cleanser, moisturizer, foundation, eye shadows......
I would imagine that lipsticks everyone would buy brand new, though.
What do different Rabbonim say about it?

I usually buy new gloss 2x a year, so I make sure that the cycle starts on Pesach. I just bought a new tube last week, and I'm almost out of my old gloss.

funny u should ask...just came back from sephora...went a little crazy, spent waaaay too much, but I got 3 new lip glosses, figured while I'm there I might as well get a new blush, and eyeshadow, and my eyeliner was running out anyway... Anyways, I'm out $145, DH will NOT be happy.

That is exactly what I do! I figured that they can last for years cause basically you can use make up only for a few days.... which normally you don't really need to... Unless you are in a fancy hotel, so then u need to have brakfast in your best Revlon!

I heard that anythign that touches your face must be new, including moisturizers, eye shadows, lipstick, masc...
so what I do each yr is buy a whole new set of everything I need, and like someone mentioned earlier, the cycle begins on Pesach adn I have to replenish somewhere along the way...
(I use Mac make up... so I am out $130!!!) call me totally nuts!
annon cuz I met someone in mac that I know that day!

Here in Eretz Yisroel there's a famous "kashrus" Rabbi called Rabbi Yosef Zaritzky---he checks everything out and knows almost everything about products and ingredients. He says cosmetics need to be cleaned for pessach and may be used, because there is no inyan of chometz in cosmetics, cleaning products, degertents etc.
