In one of the posts, a poster was inquiring about a Garin Torani in Petach Tikva. I rather incredulously (based on my knowledge of the city) replied that it didn't sound right that there would be a Garin Torani there. The city is full of all walks of religious life: shuls, schools, organizations... you want it, it's there.
I was wrong: I read this Shabbat that there IS a Garin Torani in Petach Tikva, there in an effort to revive the diminishing religious life in the (once flourishing) center of town.
