Dd made me a thank you card. it says, "Mommy you are the nices Mommy I ever had. Thank you for all the good thangs." (Her spelling, in case you were wondering.) She's 7 years old.
I wonder how many mommies she has had in her life.
She also made ds a birthday card last year. Now, ds has special needs and is NOT easy to live with. This is what she wrote to him: "Happy birthday. I love you. Your the best porsin that cud ever be in my famaly. gudby. have fun. Thank you for the wunofull things you did."

so cute and thoughtful.
My 9 year old son recently found a stamp in the house and asked me if I need it. A few days later I got a thank you note in the mail for the watch I bought him.
