Does anyone have a good recipe for ice cream..strawberries..nuts...thanx.

Puree one box of strawberries...add an egg white and sugar to taste...beat until it fills up the bowl with fluff (it makes a lot)...freeze.

schwartzile,we are gishikt but not as gishikt as you are..
Maybe it's the age that slows us down.... Crying

I have lots of good recipes but I am not holding there yet.
I will give you some good ones if you wait.
I am jealous that you can go for manicure/pedicure manyana as your house is spotless!
I am so far away from that!

Strawberry Ice Cream

Beat 5-7 egg whites (depending on quantity u want )
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
1 bag frozen strawberries

After beating the egg whites add sugar gently. In a food processor chop strawberries and lemon juice. Freeze.

Chocolate Ice Cream

9 eggs separated
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup choc syrup
3/4 cup oil
1 1/2 Tablespoons cocoa
1 tsp cofee dissolved in a drop of hot water

Beat egg whites on high speed till stiff. Lower speed and add 1/4 cup sugar.

In a sep bowl, mix yolks with rest of sugar. Slowly add rest of ingredients. Fold egg whites into yolks gently. Freeze in a 10X16 pan.

My chocolate ice cream really works best with syrup but I'm curious to hear if u tried it with cocoa. We made 2 batches and it was nowhere close to enough!!!! Very Happy
