Has anyone gone to a casino in miami?
or a good show, like a magic show/comedy/broadway type/circus???
looking for some entertainment ideas besides sitting on the beach (which we will also do...!)

Yes, I have been to a casino in Miami. Although I think they use video instead of live people at the tables. But it's still fun.
I really enioyed jet skiing at the beach. We went to cirque de soleil. Check online when they have shows. It's not cheap, but amazing! And I believe there is parrot jungle and Miami Seaquarium as well. There are fancy malls (I can only afford to go window shopping) and you can do a Segway tour.
Of course, it's fun to go out to eat. And make sure to take it easy, relax and have fun!
