I never owned a pair!
I saw a picture in Glamour magazine last week of a very pretty moccasines that are new from Tods..yesterday I went to Tods on Madison Ave &Thank g-d they dont have my size!sold out!I almost fainted when I heard how much they were...$345!
I was wondering whats so good about them??????

Not a fad, they've been around forever. They use a very unique kind of leather that is expensive. Most of their products are in that tan color since they don't want to dye it-- the colored goods are of somewhat lesser quality, but I don't think that affects the price.
There was a really interesting article about the company in the New Yorker a few years back. Worth looking up.
