We recently moved to a new home(our first), my husband wants to have a chanukas habayis, I dont really know what one does to make a chanukas habais, I am not the type of person who needs to show off my house.
What do u do for a chanukas habayis?

Invite neighbors,friends and relatives and make a kiddush or suedah w/h some divrei Torah. We made a melave malkah and tied it into a Chashuva date

At our Chanukas Habayis my husband made a Siyum. We had an open house where the whole community came and went for a period of about 2 hours. We had ours the day after Shavuos so we had a huge spread of Milchig cakes and fingerfood and candy. It was so much fun!
